The Kukumiku fundraising giveaways are a way of doing the traditional giveaway but digitally and online to support a good cause.
It is a tool to get the word out and attract donors to a crowdfunding campaign and increase its funding.
How does it work?

1. Create a donation crowdfunding campaign about the cause you want to raise funds for.
2. Create a giveaway in favor of the crowdfunding campaign.
3. Start sharing it and raising funds. People who donates will be able to participate in the giveaway.

Who can create a giveaway?
Any person, company, entity or organization that is responsible.
What can you offer in a giveaway?
It is recommended that something attractive capable of gaining awareness and attracting people to our cause or campaign.
The purpose of the giveaway is to get the word out and attract contributions to our cause.
How do you participate in the giveaways?
Anyone who collaborates with a campaign linked to a giveaway and chooses to participate in the giveaway will participate in that giveaway.
Each donor has a participation in the giveaway regardless of the amount that has donated. There are no more participations for those who donate a higher amount. Any contribution is welcome in Kukumiku.
How is the winner selected?
When a draw ends, the system randomly selects a winner and 2 substitutes for each prize using an algorithm.
The winner is contacted by email and has 10 days to accept the prize or the prize will go to the first alternate. So will be until a winner accepts or the prize is void.
Once you accept, we willshare the contact information with the promoter of the giveaway so they can communicate and make the delivery of the prize.
Does it have any cost?
There is no extra cost to do a giveaway. The 5% commission on the proceeds of the campaign is maintained whether a giveaway is added or not, therefore creating a giveaway has no added cost, only the linked campaign or project has a cost that serves us to continue keeping the platform active.
Create a giveaway Includes: the page of the giveaway, selection of participations and participants, legal bases, taxes, selection of winners, contact with winners and legal acceptance of prizes
Does not include: The costs of the prize and the delivery of the prize. This is the responsibility of the promoter of the giveaway.
What do I need to create a giveaway?
Have a prize, several prizes or a pack of several prizes attractive enough to make the giveaway worth.
There must be a crowdfunding campaign created about the cause you want to support or if not you should create it before. The giveaway must always be linked to a crowdfunding campaign.

If you already have everything, start creating your giveaway. If you don’t have the campaign created yet, create the campaign first and then you can create and add the giveaway / s.
